Skylar Wilson, MA, developed Wild Awakenings while finishing his graduate studies in Philosophy, Cosmology, and Consciousness at the California Institute of Integral Studies in 2012. He has experienced the healing power of wilderness over and over while guiding trips around the world for adolescents and adults over the past 15 years. Skylar is director of an inter-cultural ritual called the Cosmic Mass which attempts to bring together the world’s spiritual traditions into an embodied, transformational ritual that builds community through dancing and the arts. Jennifer Listug Director
Jennifer Listug is the co-director of Wild Awakenings with Skylar Wilson. Jennifer has been on the Board of Trustees at the Unity in Marin Spiritual Community for three years, serving as the Board President for 18 months. At Unity in Marin, Jennifer created the Wednesday Night Interfaith Services, and led Rites of Passage groups for teenagers, and founded a young adult interfaith group committed to conscious connection, community service, and social activism. She worked for three years at New World Library, a book publishing company committed to publishing books on personal growth and spirituality. She is a passionate hiker, reader, writer, and public speaker.
Lucia Lilikoi is a singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and educator who has released her third studio album. Vessel is an exploration of the Heroine’s journey and her relationship to water. The songs in Vessel weave Neptunian soundscapes with intimate, yet universal stories. Lucia has worked with Julia Wolf (sia, Ani Difranco) on Vessel, and Grammy winning producer Malcolm Burn (Bob Dylan, Jeff Buckley) on her second album. Her music has been featured on “The L Word”, “Sold in America”, and “The Future of Energy”, featuring luminary Buddhist ecologist Joanna Macy. Lucia has been touring California, the West Coast, and Europe for the past ten years. Her main interest is to create an experience of sound where one can immerse in magic, healing, and a return to our distant home. She is constantly exploring the role of music in social change and subtle activism. She works as a musical mentor, sound healer, song keeper/leader, and provides music for yoga classes, retreats, and ceremonies.
